The Health Spot participates in most of the major health insurance plans in the region. Listed below are some of the major health insurance companies which we currently accept. If your health insurance is not listed, contact the number on the back of your card to see if we are participating in your plan.
Please be aware that with any health insurance plans, there may be deductibles and copayments for which you could be responsible. Always check with your insurance company so you are aware of payment responsibility.
24 hour cancellation policy - for any scheduled appointments The Health Spot requires a 24-hour notice of cancellation or reschedule otherwise there will be a fee billed to the patient. The Health Spot maintains a list of many patients that want to take any openings available caused by cancellations. The Health Spot has a very busy schedule and we do our best to accommodate our patients needs. Please be sure to let us know if you need to cancel or reschedule and thank you for your understanding.

**The health spot does not bill your insurance for any lab work such as blood work, that is billed from the laboratory conducting the test. Please refer any questions pertaining to lab statements to them

We understand that insurance coverage may not always be available for our patients or we may not be contracted with your current insurance carrier.
We are happy to offer a significantly discounted self-pay rate for our patients as follows:

Questions and Answers
Q : Are there additional charges for Bio Meridian screening?
A : Yes, there is a fee for this as it's not billable to insurance. It's only $40 for each scan, however you also have access to your bio-meridian tester and can text them questions about your protocol.
Q : Does my insurance cover supplements, shakes, or other nutraceuticals?
A : Unfortunately no, however if you have a FLEX spending or Health Savings account, they typically will authorize those charges. If you have any questions concerning this please give us a call.
